Pueblo Barrancas Eco Lodge

Located in rugged landscape of ocean side hillsides and slopes, Pueblo Barrancas was conceived as an eco touristic project created for the appreciation of nature in a virgin state; it was designed to preserve the carcavas and avoid negative impacts on the dynamics of the coastal system. The whole construction, built over stilts, was made with lightweight natural materials (local wood, straw roofs, among others) which were transported by blood traction, avoiding the utilization of heavy machinery. At Pueblo Barrancas, you can find nature in its purest state and this stimulates each visitor’s adventurous spirit who can choose between staying at the lovely cabins or the suite tents. The cabins were designed to enjoy the sun, the moonlight nights and silence; the tents, on the other hand, bring a completely new concept of camping outdoors with the comfort of a luxury hotel, without giving up glamour and comfort, and not having to pitch a tent. A new concept of relax, in which you will find that quality and service go hand in hand perfectly while architecture is harmoniously inserted in the natural setting and combined with magnificent views of the slopes and the sea. Wooden decks communicate the cabins and tents with the beach, pool and restaurant which is ran by Chef Jorge Oyenard, whose concept of gastronomy is simply based on high quality and freshness of the vegetables which grow organically in the orchard of the lodge.
